Hello friend,

Today marks a milestone for me—I made my debut on a Talk TV show, and guess what? It was live! Thanks to a nudge from my fabulous friend (and my recent podcast guest) Paloma, I found myself among the lucky ones to grace the set of Mañana Latina.The thrill and adrenaline kept me company all morning, and let me tell you, everything you’ve heard about behind-the-scenes chaos is absolutely true. Picture a bustling green room with over a dozen people shuffling in and out, the anticipation building as you wait for your moment to shine. And when that moment finally arrives, it’s showtime—no rehearsals, no prep, just pure adrenaline-fueled action.

Now, staying on my toes is something I’m accustomed to, but this experience was a whole new ballgame. Thanks to my recent foray into improv, my 40+ episodes of “Rekindle Your Light,” and the invaluable fashion tips from my friend Marina at Turnstyle Closet, I was ready to rock it. I even found myself mistaken for a Thanatology expert—cue the Google search!—turns out it’s the study of death, who knew?, all because I talked about coping with significant losses in my life. 

One of the highlights for me was seeing photos of my loved ones grace the screen—it felt like a small but meaningful tribute to them. And just like that, it was over in the blink of an eye. Major props to those who do this day in and day out, but between you and me, I think I’ll stick to being a guest for now.
