Hi friend,
Last week, I managed to sneak in a half-day at “Growth Day L.A.”—had to play taxi for my mom in the afternoon, which meant battling the classic L.A. traffic and missing the event afternoon sessions.Â
One moment that particularly resonated with me was during Ed Mylett’s session. Ed, a renowned entrepreneur and captivating speaker, shared something unexpectedly profound: despite his vast success, he admitted he’s still figuring things out. Yes, you read that right—someone at the pinnacle of personal development is navigating the same uncertain waters as the rest of us!
Reflecting on Ed’s words, I caught myself wondering: Do I need the perfect podcast to prove I’ve made it? Do I need a client list longer than a CVS receipt or my face plastered on TV to feel like a real actor? Nope. His confession was a breath of fresh air, reminding me that it’s totally fine not to have every single piece in place.
This whole comparison game we play—whether we admit it or not—often leads us down the path of imposter syndrome, feeling like we’re just not cutting it. That’s one of the reasons I’m pumped about working with people to shake off those pesky doubts. It’s about moving forward with intention, purpose, and, heck, a bit of dignity too.
Just today, I was re-listening to my recent chat with Krystina Bailey Brawer, and she said something that stuck: “If there’s someone who doesn’t have it all figured out and they’re still trying to figure out what they want to do, where they want to go, I’d say to them, it’s okay, it’s okay to not know right now what you want to do…” And isn’t that just what we need to hear sometimes?
Life’s not about sprinting to the finish line—it’s more like a funky dance, sometimes awkward, often beautiful, but always moving. And the pace? Well, it doesn’t matter as long as we’re taking steps, however small they may be.
So here’s to embracing the messiness and the unknowns of life. Let’s enjoy the ride, shall we?
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts or any ‘aha’ moments you’ve had recently. Sharing is caring, right?
Cheers to a week of discoveries and embracing the unexpected,

P.S. Seriously, let me know your thoughts. It’s like fuel for my next newsletter!
P.S. 2. In case you missed it, last week’s episodes featured two remarkable animal lovers discussing the intriguing role of dogs as spiritual guides. We have one episode in English and another in Spanish—be sure to check them out for some enlightening conversation!
